Founder of Solution2Pollution and Decorative Recycling Artist 

Lynn "Jan" Shehee, a native of Shreveport, Louisiana, is the visionary behind Solution2Pollution. Inspired by her grandmother and uncle, Jan has always been passionate about art and creativity. Her professional journey included a successful twenty-year career in Los Angeles, where she won numerous awards for her artistic talents. After returning to Shreveport to care for her mother, Jan discovered the potential of recyclable materials to create beautiful and functional art. This discovery sparked her mission to promote environmental sustainability through creative recycling.

Jan deeply values the planet and is dedicated to ensuring clean air, body, food, water, neighborhoods, and a healthier world. Her recycled designs, showcased at local libraries, inspire the community to embrace recycling and reduce their carbon footprint. Recognized as one of the "Unsung Heroines" by the Mooretown Branch Library, Jan continues to share her talents through art programs and public education. Her work has been featured in "The Shreveport Sun" and "The Shreveport Times," reflecting her commitment to making the world a cleaner, greener place.
